ABOUT US

Our Roots in Charlottesville

Since 1955, Foods of All Nations has been your neighborhood market, importing global flavors and spotlighting local producers. What began as a small specialty shop by Don King and Watt Jones in Rose Hill quickly grew into a Charlottesville institution.

We moved from Meadowbrook Shopping Center to our current Ivy Square home in 1970.

“Because Foods has such consistent repeat customers, we always want to offer something new.”

WELCOME TO FOODS

Proudly Independent & Family-Focused

We are more than a grocery store; we are the last independent grocer in town, dedicated to old-school hospitality.

Our long-tenured team (35-year veterans, 30-year managers, and friendly faces you know) greets you by name and shares recommendations on wines, cheeses, and house-made specialties.
